#Trump’s #budget requests $13.8B for the #FAA, an increase of $359M, w/much of it intended to addressing the national shortage of air traffic controllers [that’s new].

The budget outlines a $5B investment to upgrade the #infrastructure of the national #airspace system, including a proposed increase of $824M for the year. This includes a $450M initial investment toward a multiyear, multi-billion-dollar #radar replacement initiative.

#Trump is proposing to cut, by $2.4B, a program that offers low-cost financing for #WaterQuality projects, targeting the largest source of federal funds for #DrinkingWater utilities, #sewage treatment plants & other #infrastructure like #water #pipes.
