It’s 4:30am.

9 polls are still out for the Carleton riding.

Poiliveres riding.

It’s too close to call right now.

Liberal Bruce Fanjoy in the lead.

By over 3,000 votes.

Good fucking lord.

Holy fucking shit.

All of the bad words.

This is amazing.

Goodnight.

Yet another election where the media isn't doing their job.

Instead of helping Canadians understand the Westminster Parliamentary system that Canada uses, they report as if it were a US Presidential election.

Reporting as the sun crosses from east to west, generating Western alienation.

Elections Canada should be able to fine the media for this harm to Canada’s Democratic Institutions.

Day 26 cont 🏡🏘️🏘️🏘️🏠🏠🏚️

“The #HousingCrisis has dominated the #FederalElection campaign, and all sides of politics have desperately tried to #harness or #neutralise it as an #issue.

An analysis by The #AFR of nearly 25,000 data points compiled by research firm Cotality, formerly #CoreLogic, reveals how the property market is playing out at an electorate-by-electorate level, and what this means for #voters – both at the #election on May 3 and into the future”

@cbcnews @politics-cbcnews This is really bothersome. I get Singh's point: keep the NDP in the House in order to soften the hard edges of the Liberals, and he's right about that, but there's no such thing as a "supermajority" in a Westminster parliament! A majority is a majority is a majority. It's insulting to Canadians try to scare us by importing a concept from American politics that doesn't apply to us.
