I've loved peanut butter & jelly forever, and when I told Hailey I'd never eaten an Uncrustable, she kindly brought me one. It disappeared faster than the time it took to take these photos. My Friday tie looks like a paisley Uncrustables tie.

I dressed myself for a funeral this morning. I put on a black tie. I realised when tying it, that in this age a tie-wearer has to achieve a tie length in the zone between Trump-tie and Hitler Jugend-tie.

Those of you who wear #masc presenting clothes - when did you last wear a formal shirt with a #tie ?

Last time for me was a relatives wedding, nearly a decade ago - even when I was working in public service in 2000s I rarely wore one (Tony Blair even said it was no longer necessary) and have never done so at my current job - I'm often doing hardware installs or even vehicle and building maintenance work, so it would be a safety risk anyway #menswear #clothing #fashion #necktie

This was yesterday's completed prototype. I'd never made a Dresden Plate before, so this was challenging on 2 fronts.
The plate is from thrifted silk neckties. The background and binding are cotton fabrics from my stash. The overall size is about 21" square(-ish) (53 cm), and the Plate is about 15" (38 cm) across.

OK, here is today's finished piece. It measures overall about 34" x 31" (about 86 x 79 cm). It's called Bang! Bang! Bang! I was using this as a prototype for creating a commissioned piece. The red pieces are made from silk neckties. The black background is all cotton from my stash of fabrics. The red binding is cotton from my stash.
