It's a Montana Monday, and nothing gives me more trust issues than AI and its nonsense. This "Living in Montana" Facebook talks about Route 50 going through Montana (it goes through NV, UT & CO among many others). I labeled those cities where they ACTUALLY belong, too.

Six ducks are taking grassy refuge under a big tree with over 6" of snow in this part of Billings, but 10-12" of snow fell in other parts of the Billings metro area! Drive (and fly) safely!

When a group of Satanists attempted to hold a black mass at the Kansas state capitol last week,
Kansas resident and right-wing broadcaster #Doug #Billings was apoplectic,
demanding that Gov. Laura Kelly arrest the activists and organize a militia, if necessary,
to prevent them from getting anywhere near the statehouse.
While Gov. Kelly took steps to ensure that the group’s event would be held outside rather than inside the capitol, she did not follow Billings’ advice,
so now Billings has announced that he is running for governor himself to ensure that nothing like this ever happens again.
If elected, Billings vowed to create a militia to help the Trump administration "round up all illegal immigrants in our state."
"A voluntary militia [of] able-bodied men between 21 and 45, for example, we'll talk about that," Billings promised.
"I think they could be there to back the police, back the National Guard and help Kansas keep the peace."
"One example in particular was this black mass that was held on the grounds of our capitol," he continued.
"I would have used the National Guard, the militia and all of the law enforcement officers that I have at my disposal as governor
and that black mass would not have taken place if I were governor of the state of Kansas."
"We have come so far from what the Founders intended," Billings ranted.
"The Founders did not mean to wrap Satanism in the blanket of free speech and freedom of religion.
People in those days who did that were burned at the stake,
and I'm not advocating that we execute these people,
but I am suggesting that these actions don't take place on public property, state property."
"We had members of both parties say, 'Well, it's free speech.
We might not like what they say, but we've gotta put up with it.'
Nonsense!" Billings insisted.
"That's not what the Founding Fathers intended. We need a governor who's brave enough to say this out loud.
Why are we so afraid as conservatives to say this?
That event did not have to happen and it wouldn't have if I were governor.
Nothing like that will ever happen again when I'm governor."
"We're going to make God first in Kansas," Billings declared.
"I'm going to restore divine providence and the Founding Fathers' original intent:
prayer in schools,
defending our Judeo-Christian heritage and values,
ensuring that state policies reflect our spiritual foundation and the traditional family values that built Kansas and America.
Kansas is the heartbeat of the moral pulse of America, and we will not let her—Kansas—slide any further into the woke, liberal, progressive nonsense that we've seen over the last eight years
with Commu-Socialist Laura Kelly at the helm.

on Monday... likely ~5:00-6:00PM.
The snow arrived on time! March is supposed to "go out like a lamb," but this year, it's going out like a lion, which is making my lioness stay in like a loaf. My cat loaf says, "Nope!".

Before the clouds rolled in, Shylo took advantage of the sunshine on a record-breaking 79° day in Billings! When she got up to eat, I also took advantage and made a footstool out of her cat seat. You chews, you lose. She found another sunbeam. All was well.
We had 73 wonderful Wednesday degrees, and it was our warmest day since October! Thursday will be warmer, but winter wants its encore, too!
Another cold front will sweep over Montana and Wyoming on Saturday, delivering stronger wind, rain, and snow. More unsettled weather ahead, too! I'll have your 7-day weather forecast tonight!

It's easy to see why critters seek sunbeams... almost 70° warmer in the indoor sun than the outdoor air! Shylo is enjoying our sunny (but cool) final day of winter. Spring starts tomorrow!
In a follow-up from this morning, a rollover has ironically cleared the scene, and now traffic can continue. Proceed with caution, however.

Four deer on Saturday, six rabbits on Monday. Perhaps I'll see eight turkeys on Wednesday. The rabbits are having an easier time now that our 30+" of February snow melted. More snow soon!
My Saturday workout paused when I saw four deer trotting up the street enjoying today's mild Montana weather. They needed to obey traffic lights and use the crosswalks better, though.
