The Israeli army unit that killed aid workers in Gaza's Rafah last month had received a report about increased ambulance traffic on the route shortly before the incident. The soldiers fired at the vehicles continuously for three and a half minutes – even from point-blank range – reloading their ammunition multiple times, despite attempts by the aid workers to identify themselves.

The IDF Spokesperson has just released its account of the incident in which 15 rescue workers were killed in Gaza. In a word? Cover-up.
The investigation is riddled with contradictions, vague phrasing, and selective details. The only "serious" disciplinary action taken: the dismissal of the deputy commander of Golani’s elite unit. His reported “failure” was submitting an incomplete account of the incident. In other words, he lied.
We all remember when the IDF claimed that the ambulances emergency lights weren’t on — and then we saw the footage proving otherwise. Not every lie has a video to expose it, but this report doesn’t even attempt to engage with the truth.
Another day, another cover-up. More innocent lives taken, with no accountability.
Bonus: The report dedicates an entire paragraph to praising the dismissed officer. Here's a part of it:
“The deputy commander of Golani's elite unit is a highly decorated officer, whose military service and personal story reflect a spirit of combat, volunteerism, and deep dedication.”

All the Western media are shouting out loud that the Russian attack on a military awards ceremony in Sumy was “the crime of the century”, while US airstrikes have been battering Yemen since February, killing:

🔸Wounding 221.
Hodeidah’s homes and Sanaa’s markets lie in ruins. Yet, the West shrugs. Compare this to Sumy recently. Western leaders screamed “war crime,” demanding justice, but Yemen’s toll rise up to:
🔸300 US-UK strikes in 2025 alone
🔸85 civilian deaths by February
🔸A ceramics factory strike killed 5, injured 13.
Where are the humanitarians crying for Ukraine now? Western bombs don’t discriminate.

B'Tselem בצלם : On 19 Jan. 2025, Israeli soldiers entered the Palestinian village of Sabastiya near Nablus and fired several shots in the air. Some teens gathered behind a wall and aimed toy lasers at them. When 14-year-old Ahmad Jazar peeked out with his toy, the soldiers shot and killed him. Then they left.
Since the war in Gaza began, the military has increased its deliberate “friction” with residents of the West Bank, including raids on communities with no clear operational goal. This well-known practice, aimed at disrupting daily life, comes with a deadly cost.
