At Baroque Performance Institute in #oberlin conservatory, I started learning the viola da gamba! This was an amazing experience, it was the first bowed string instrument for me, and I loved the challenge of struggling at an instrument trying to make something sound musical. I even got put into a viol consort in the second week and we performed during the final student concert! #viol #viole #violadagamba #baroquemusic #music #classicalmusic #earlymusic
