This looks like an interesting game. I'd be interested how much is cell-shaded models, and how much is 2d handdrawn. I'm pretty sure I could play this. I couldnt approach the twitchshooter Cuphead games.

A fun new Simpsons ep on hulu. Tho, it's more circular. The plot puts things back where they were. Which The Simpsons being a status-ish quo show, that is to be expected. But this didnt really have much to say or change in the slightest about Homer and Flanders. Not terrible, but it felt like cheep candy: a little flavor, then nothing, and not filling.

That said, still had great gags. I had fun. But not the best plot, of a strong season so far.

Ok, if you are missing Scavenger's Reign, I would reeaally consider looking at Common Side Effects. It's alot quirkier that SR. But very much matches some of the vibes it has. Very different art style. But high grade animation. And one hell of a story and characters.

Catching Up (Pilot)

Quay comes home from a crappy day at school. And alllll he wants to do is relax the day away. But both his friend and his mom are forcing him to go to some crappy highschooler club. Where his friend continues to embarrass himself.

This was a good production. HUGE cast for an indie. But great jokes, good animation. They have already Kickstarted ep 2. But also sell merch as well.

The Amazing Screw-On Head Returns! Unseen Animated Pilot Expanded!

This pilot was quite the project. A bit of lightning in a bottle. Based on a book by Mike Mignolia, developed by Bryan Fuller, Chris Prynoski directing, voiced by some big names. It was a pilot, that unfortunately did not get a greenlite to series. It came in juuust before the Adult Swim flashpoint.

I watch it once every year. It is just that good.

Ok, I was a lil upset about not getting the Gotham City Sirens in Harley Quinn S5.

But this Breaking Brainiac ep is amazing. Damn good writing. Which was done by Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker, and Dean Lorey. Directed by Diana Hun.

Steven Fry is voicing Brainiac??!!?!

I just love the humor in this. And how they make the Coluans talk. The revalation of Brainiac here is just perfect.
