This VM is running with a NATted NIC, and legacy DOS TCP/IP LANMAN drivers do not display the DHCP info - So I can't see what IP address the VM is getting, and Trumpet Winsock needs that information. Handily, there is a DHCP.PRM binary file that gets created with the info in it, but there's no actual user tool as part of LANMAN to read it. So... Using only what I have on this VM, I write my own parser!

$omehow, in the #8bitwar the #C64 was much more popular even when specs been almost the same. The difference in #BASIC language was less significant for the success. Most likely that competition was won by #Commodore because Jack Tramiel took the advice of his grandfather so serious.
