One of our fellow sim-racers had quite the scare this past week, being declared clinically dead for over 25 minutes. Tyler has been both a fierce and respectful competitor on track, and we wish him the absolute best in his recovery.

As you know, even with insurance, medical bills and procedures can be crippling in the US. If you are able, please consider donating to assist with helping him and his family through this time of financial strain.

Tonight's race at Phoenix was a quick one, with only 2 cautions for incidents. The long green flag runs presented a challenge for many, with tire wear playing a role.

Two ETHiX cars entered the race - last night's winner @carlile in the #81, and @TeaganFox in the #61, who would unfortunately retire from the race early after spinning on a restart. She would be scored in 18th.

Carlile went on to finish stage 1 in 7th, 3rd in stage 2, and hold on to a 2nd place finish at the checkered flag.

Next week is another doubleheader, with Las Vegas on May 5th, and Homestead on May 6th.

We're revving up for some intense action tomorrow night in the Majors Garage Cup Series at the world's fastest half-mile, Bristol Motor Speedway.

Coming in at 0.533 miles with banking up to 28°, racing here has been likened to "fighter jets in a salad bowl". Multiple lanes, close quarters action, and driver aggression, always makes it a unique challenge to take the checkered flag.

Ride along for two quick laps around the Last Great Colosseum.

P5 finish tonight at Martinsville for @carlile, marking our first top-5 since The Clash back in February, and our best finish in the series so far in the regular season. After a slew of disappointing finishes, this result is a welcomed one even though it was a sloppy race with more than a few cautions.

Let's carry the momentum into next week's race at Darlington!

This Wednesday, we are at Homestead-Miami Speedway for the next race on the Majors Garage Cup Series calendar. Growing up in South Florida, this is as close to a home race as it gets for @carlile, and also for Little Bear Sanctuary which is located in Punta Gorda, FL. So our 81 machine will be sporting a Little Bear paint scheme for the race.

Also, from now until the drop of the green flag (March 26th at 8:20pm ET), we will donate $100 to Little Bear Sanctuary if we can get to 100 followers, and then an extra $1 per follower if we exceed that.

We'd also appreciate it if you could send a donation their way if you're able. Little Bear Sanctuary is home to more than 200 rescued farm animals, where they can all live a life free from harm. littlebearsanctuary.org

Race Recap:
March 5th, 2025
Circuit of the Americas

We had high hopes going into the first road course race of the season, with Carlile averaging a 2.3 finish at road races last year in the series. But we knew it would also be a challenge given the new talent in the field, and that proved to be the case.

The #81 VeganEasy.org Chevy rolled off in 5th place for the start of the race, and maintained a top-10 running position for the majority of the first stage, and netting a 4th place stage finish at the end of lap 20.

The start of the second stage was a bit chaotic, and almost ended in disaster for the team as the car got loose coming out of the stadium section, nearly sending Carlile into the guardrail. Luckily, he was able to save it and continue on, albeit a handful of spots behind where he was. A smooth drive had him recover to finish stage 2 in 9th.

For the final stage, it was a tough one. Fighting through lapped traffic and on old tires, we were unable to maintain a top-5 position, and fell back to 8th in the closing laps.
