#DJT trolls #California by issuing #TruthSocial post disguised as brain fart #ExecutiveOrder to reopeni obsolete #Alcatraz prison on island in #SanFrancisco Bay , which was abandoned for its use as a prison as impractical after three decades of service back in the early 1960s.

Site famously occupied by #NativeAmerican protesters in early 70s and many still hold sunrise #Thanksgiving ceremonies on the island, before abandoned bldgs were turned into a #NationalPark that opened in 1974.

The rocky island has since become a major tourist attraction, hosting over a million visitors a year who arrive via officially chartered ferry boats sent from #FishermansWharf . So far local govt officials with many tourists surveyed awaiting to board are not amused by bleat of #Presidential bluster fuggery.
