Can't call it a full day, had a doctors visit, but I did find time for a little bit in my #Algebra course, and I think I need to find a good mediate #Python course to learn that.

Last Thursday, I ran my first creative coding workshop for older kids and teens (ages 12-16) at the Darling Square Library Makerspace. I was amazed to see what they all created in just two hours! Here are some examples.

I finished the chapter bout #Vectors and #VectorMath. And I am happy to be moving forward. Not fully up to "top speed" brain wise, but getting better each day. Sleeping helps a lot.

Here is some art I made using my phone and code that I wrote in #p5js. All images were from a single seed, and involved a lot of direct control to create them. It is my alternative to doomscrolling in bed.

Multiple sine wave oscillation functions, combined with procedurally generated noise, alter the size and orientation of 2,052 straight line segments.
Soft curves emerge from hard edges.

2 sections in #NatureOfCode. Both magnitude and normalize the vector. I am starting to enjoy #Math again. Maybe I should take some courses in higher math, couldn't hurt :)

One upside with not being able to sleep, it you have a lot more time to study. Worked on #NatureOfCode and more #VectorMath, today vector subtraction in #P5JS.
Had a little look on a #webProject for another friend, and started to make a #designSketch.

More of the same. #vectorMath in #P5JS. Made a random walker that uses a velocity random vector. And I am pretty happy about that, took some searching on the web, but finally got the right result.
