One might be inclined to think this is a cover of a Western song, but as far as I am aware this is an SM original written by Kenzie. Anyway, it's a great song!

Day 18 -- Holiday Movie You Would Watch With Your Bias(es)

The setting: screening room with comfortable armchairs and sofas, plus lots of blankets and cushions.
The refreshments: hot tea and Walker's shortbread.*
The film: The Snowman (1982)
I chose this 25 minute animation because it's a charming holidayish film without any dialogue, the only words being those of the song "Walking in the Air" *. As such, it would be suitable for viewers with limited English.
The film, based on a wordless picture book by Raymond Briggs, was made in 1982 for the British TV station Channel 4. It's become a staple of British holiday viewing, but I am not sure that it is that well known beyond the UK.
The through-composed score by Howard Blake works so well.
Although the film is suitable for young viewers, it isn't babyish. It doesn't have any religious content, nor could it be considered remotely controversial in any way.
I think the Snowman is an ideal film for sharing with idols, and you all might enjoy it too!

This remake of an older SM song was released in February 2021, but the visual and the whole mood of the song have convinced me this digital single was originally intended for the 2020/2021 holiday season.
I really like their vocals here. I know it's not an original song of theirs, but I wish there was more of this side of aespa, as opposed to savage techwear inyourfaceishness. Would it be unreasonable to hope for more in the vein of "Welcome to MY World"?
