Hello comrades, This is a call to action! Mera25 Italy has organised a crowdfunding campaing to buy at least 5 shares of the GFF COOP.P.A. cooperative, created by the GKN Workers’ Collective.

If you don’t know them, the GKN Factory Collective was born out of a workers’ struggle in Campi Bisenzio (Firenze), which began in July 2021 after more than 400 workers were laid off by the Melrose fund, with an email. In response, workers occupied the factory and transformed a labour dispute into a collective project of resistance and rebirth.

Today, the Collective aims to convert the factory into a public, self-managed hub dedicated to sustainable mobility and renewable energy. To do this, they have launched a popular shareholder campaign. MERA25 Italy wants to be part of this collective struggle.
