This Republican Administration keeps saying they have classified information indicating all of the disappeared persons are terrorists or gang members. I am asking you to assign a staffer with the appropriate clearance to examine the records of each person being detained. We cannot see the data, but you can. I read about Juan Francisco Méndez, 29 an undocumented man with no criminal record, who told the federal agents surrounding his car that his lawyer was coming. Rather than wait and have to deal with a lawyer, they smashed his car window and dragged him from the car. His wife does not know where he is right now.
I am asking you to look at the "evidence" and let the world know the truth.
