Oregon Coast

From sand beaches that seem to go on for miles, to rugged cliffs, and other stretches that offer view after view of, the Oregon Coast has something for most everybody.
This was captured near the Heceta Head Light house along a rather rocky treacherous area due to the steep cliffs and powerful surf. See the full image here: fineartamerica.com/featured/or Coast

Oregon Coast I captured this image from a turnout along the Oregon Coast off of US 101. This particular area just kind of spoke to me. I watched for a good amount of time as the surf pounded the steep cliffs and rocky outcroppings. This nature scene shows the power of the wave and resistance of the coastline fighting for survival. The cliffs have tall trees on the edge, some showing their roots from the erosive force of the waves.
