I know a lot of #vtubers and #pngtubers like to have a "debut" and really play up their role as a fictional character but I treat mine rather differently. I'm very transparent about my characters production right down to animating him for the first time live on Twitch. I will probably make a new video about the character once this new version is ready.
Speaking of #vTubers and #pngTubers I have recently started researching and writing the script for my first long-form video essay type thing. Hopefully it won't end up longer than half an hour but what started as a short video about one particular pre-internet live character snowballed onto talking about every example I could find. I think it's gonna be a really fun one!
