Ishambard<p>Something I am playing in the background is <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/ValkyriaChronicles2" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ValkyriaChronicles2</span></a> I remember playing this when I was at University, in 2010. Shame my <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/PSP" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>PSP</span></a> crapped out ages ago, fantastic device, however it seemed really finnickity and prone to issues due to the internals being delicate.</p><p>Anyway, this is less about the PSP and more about the <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/ValkyriaChronicles" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ValkyriaChronicles</span></a> series.<br>I love VC2, though on reflection and playing it now, the bitesize missions can be nice, but they are a total slog at times. The tone can be a bit weird, with the school setting and ignoring the fact most characters are essentially child soldiers, by choice and not because the horrors of war have forced them to take arms, unless I missed something in the in-game lore. Whilst there are emotional moments, it all feels a bit... Odd.</p><p>This will be a satisfying game to finish, especially with RetroAchievements logging my progress on a 100% completion. But it will be months before that happens.</p><p><a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/ConsoleGaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ConsoleGaming</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/GamersOfMastodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GamersOfMastodon</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/RetroGaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RetroGaming</span></a></p>
