Quan Yizhen looks up at Yin Yu, resembling nothing more than a mistreated puppy. His eyes are big and watery. He looks like he's about to cry.
"For the last time," Yin Yu sighs, pinching his nose, "no, I won't kiss you. And don't look at me like that."
"But Shixiong!" Quan Yizhen cries, somehow cranking the sad puppy eyes up a notch. "You said yes last time!"
"Last time, I was just trying to get you out of my space!" Yin Yu exclaims, waving his arm. "I didn't know I was signing up for... /this/!"
"What if I leave afterwards?" Quan Yizhen asks hopefully.
Yin Yu sighs. To get some peace at the cost of the future... or not. But does he even know if Quan Yizhen will give up if he refuses to kiss him? In the end, the answer is easy. He leans in, giving a quick kiss to the top of Quan Yizhen's head.
"Now go," he snaps, turning toward his paperwork.
"Yes, Shixiong! Of course, Shixiong!" Quan Yizhen says brightly, getting up and skipping from the room.
Yin Yu dreads the next day, but at least he's alone now.
