I have mostly been playing #Harvest solo but Linds and I played a 2p #game of it last night. It was close but she won by a few points.
Her character allowed her to build for free and her farm tile gave her the ability to build every sunrise phase so she earned the majority of her points from buildings. But I guess she snuck in just enough farm actions to put her over the edge.

I played solo #ArkNova (with Marine Worlds) for the first time in years tonight. And of course I lost by 6 points. I pulled off a ton of conservation points at the very end, but it just wasn't meant to be.

Ugh after some unasked advice about how to improve the NMM my brain went 'apparently it's shit' and I spent more time on the NMM.
No, my people, it's not going to get better. I'm learning slowly, and this model is too complex for me, and oil paint is complex stuff.

Only leather left (and a base) on my ottoman #MurderTurks murderkitty. I can't get the NMM any better than this now so I'm continuing practice on a next model. I feel oil paints do work so much better and allow me to get the blend in better than with acrylics.

To my mind, the most fruitful prompts:
a) assert a truth
b) never ask a yes/no/one-word-answer question
c) rarely ask the obvious

This is where I really get value out of 3D printing: I love Palace of Mad King Ludwig, but I hate the stacks of tiles; I'm too prone to knocking them over!
A few minutes with my callipers and some time on Tinkercad, followed by half a day of printing, and now I have perfect tile holders!

Decided what I should paint the metal and hair on my #MurderTurks murderkitty with help from my arts teacher colleague. Base coated the mid tone for metal bits. Also faffed around with different shades. Really interesting and educational to work with only 5 paints.

Advanced my #OilPaint murderkitty project for my #TrenchCrusade #MurderTurks. Laid the last highlights on the skin, I guess, and started on the fabric. Bit conflicted about the hair colour it'll get: NMM gold will preclude brown manes, and grey NMM metal will block grey and black.
