#Australian #financial #journalist #AlanKohler of @ABC has been the only commentator I've heard today who hasn't tried to #sanewash the #BatShitCrazy effluent coming out of the mouth of the world's most dangerous man.

Kohler doesn't hold back. He describes #Trump as a man with "zero expertise" who "doesn't know what he's doing". He describes the way that the #tarriffs were calculated as "bonkers".

About pointing and laughing at Hair Füror and the 4th Reich: I’ve gotten a fair amount of pushback and how serious the moment is, and so on. All true enough.

If you don’t point and laugh, then you are #NORMALIZING him, just as the media does. If you don’t point out how none of this is rational, then you are helping to #SANEWASH him.

This is what they want and expect. #Laughter is our weapon, remember MAGA doesn’t understand humor, they take themselves seriously.

Apparenlty in the US, winning elections are all about who get the most senational media coverage and When #Kamla2024 was shiney and new and doing debates the media gave her a lot of attention, but now she's old news and doing boring campaigning and so the media is barely mentioning her. Meanwhile #Trump Worked a fake shift for less than an hour at a Mcdonalds and said that Hilter did good things. I can't remember the last memorable #harris2024 article I read. She's boring now because shes a functioning adult, while the press is goingout of of its way to #sanewash and sensationalize #TGF to the point that he sticks in people's minds way more.

In an attention economy, what you pay attention to is profitable.

#News articles you click on are perceived as profit-making, and so the #press will produce more of them.

If you click on stories that #SaneWash Trump, there will be more stories #SaneWashing (or #BothSides -ing) Trump.

If you click on stories that show Harris' hope and accomplishments, there will be more positive stories about #Harris.

Never does he "reason" & compose a response to a question.

Trump just REPEATED his crazy lie that schools do #GenderChanging operations on kids.

We must use this pattern against him.
1) He makes crazy comment
2) His surrogates & staff say "What he meant was.. "
3) The media #sanewash the comment & leave out the crazy detail. LIKE THIS HEADLINE "Trump taps into culture war issues, seeks to energize base at Moms for Liberty event"

When he doubles down on a crazy comment that's our cue to repeat it.
VS the MSM's response "the base loves it."
