Ich gehöre in Bezug auf dieses Getränk zur Fraktion *Pfui Deibel*. Mein 1. Getränk auf amerikan. Boden 1997 war ein Root Beer, das ich fälschlicherweise für Malzbier hielt. Ich wollte keine Kola o. ä. trinken, sondern etwas, das nicht ganz so süß ist.
Wer trinkt denn freiwillig etwas, das nach Zahnpasta schmeckt?

July 4th preparations complete. 7 bottles of root beer. A day or so of carbonation, then the fridge and/or into the solar oven for pasteurization. My recipe for 6 bottles ended up being 7. #rootbeer

Import task of the day, actually punching in some conversions for brewing root beer (nonalcoholic, from flavoring) into a spreadsheet so I don't have to do this all AGAIN for the fifth or sixth time. They give numbers for 5 gallons at a time... I do NOT have room for 5 gallons of root beer.

I think I may have invented something. It’s fruit #IceCream (although #sorbet might work too), used in a #float, but instead of #cola or #RootBeer I used #Sprite. It actually works pretty well.

Back when they were an independent brewer, I took a tour of their factory, where I fell in love with their aged Oak Barrel Stout, growlers, and their amazing root beer.

Since then they were sold to a larger company, and looks like they've been permanently closed for 6 months.
