@s4mmy Hosting über Regierungsserver sollte ein No-Go für alle sein, die #Privacy -bewusst handeln und sich jeglicher staatlicher #Surveillance -Möglichkeit entziehen wollen - egal in welchem Land. Man weiss ja nicht, wer demnächst regiert. Self-hosting finde ich im Gegenteil sehr gut. Aber wer kann schon Self-hosting? Ich jedenfalls nicht; mir fehlt einfach diese Kompetenz. Die Gefahr sehe ich darin, dass viele aus Kompetenzmangel bzw. Bequemlichkeit den Regierungsserver wählen würden.

Has anyone tested their software for claims like "no tracking" and "no telemetry" and many others alike?
Side note: they are claimed to be an anonymous group, and I was able to found some "1984 Group LP" in UK companies public registries, not more.
Have to note that the software is not an opensource project.
