One of my pieces of homework for postpartum pelvic floor physical therapy is to hold my pee longer.

Basically, pregnancy trained me to pee often, and now I have to strengthen my bladder muscle by letting it stretch more. So aiming to pee every 2 hours instead of every 45 minutes during the day, and only pee once at night.

It's tough!! And it goes hand in hand with letting the rest of my pelvic floor relax. But I've been making progress.

Assata is teething now so I've added some helpful items, and we're also prepping our space for this VERY active baby to start climbing around.

thanks so much y'all! just received $20!

no specific goal in mind but $1k would be phenomenal and give some real breathing room... the overlimits alone are $530, and fortunately don't have any penalties beyond the exorbitant interest rates. but they do affect my credit, which made it harder for us to get an apartment.

Added a few more items to our registry. Here are some that would be especially helpful (marked as "must have"/"still needed" if you use the list filters): 1. A baby bathtub. We have a newborn bath seat but our little wriggler can already roll around, so we need something more... contained. 2. A Himalayan salt lamp for gentle light that doesn't wake baby up but gives us enough visibility for nighttime feedings. 3. More nursing bras. I'm figuring out how to manage leaks better, but still go through 2-4 nursing bras a day. I have to wear something overnight as well so a bigger stash would be great. Many of the used bras I received are too small. Thanks y'all! All of your gifts and support have been immensely helpful during this wild and lovely and intense life transition.
