Shake, open pour, and top with more ice. Spear two cherries for the eyes, and use two lime wedges as your garnish so it looks as if the Force is strong with this one. May the 4th be with you! Chris RuppelPIÑATA 3 oz pineapple juice 1 oz lemon juice ¼ oz SC demerara syrup 1 oz ginger liqueur ½ oz St. Elizabeth allspice dram 1 oz Black Blended Rum ❺ 1 oz Blended Lightly Aged Rum ❷ Garnish: grated nutmeg Method: Add all the ingredients to a drink mixer tin. Fill with 12 ounces of crushed ice and 4 to 6 agitator cubes. Flash blend and open pour into a hollowed-out pineapple. Garnish with grated nutmeg. A real job to hollow out the pineapple, but the fun vessel makes it worth it! Northwest Beer GuideAdmittedly, we do many flavored vodkas. But, when <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/deepeddyvodka?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#deepeddyvodka</a> sent us a bottle, we couldn't resist scratching that long ignored itch. Made with real pineapple, Deep Eddy's take on vodka + pineapple is both sweet, tropical, while maintaining that grain, or in this case, corn, based vodka flavor. Oh, and the 'action-shot'? Well, let's just say you probably don't want to be drinking that much Deep Eddy in one sitting. Not at 35% ABV (or around 70 proof). As for us, we stuck with a 2 ounce sample as part of our sensory journey. More on Deep Eddy's Pineapple Vodka. Visually, Pineapple Vodka is hazy with a pale straw color. Swirling and sniffing, tropical citrus notes of pineapple and banana, arm-wrestle with that familiar Deep Eddy's corn alcohol smell immediately greeted you. Sipping, those same tropical notes immediately greet you, almost cane sugar like notes, followed by corn-based vodka, finishing overall smooth. For our money, we think this would make for a fun pina colada, unblended, or keep it simple with this and a few ounces of soda water. Either way, have some fun and enjoy spring and the upcoming prospect of summer! As in for the chicken, not a cooking recipe...gosh, humans.Clear signs of not being well for about three days: sluggish, tail down, feathers puffed up, enlarged crop that didn't empty over night. Didn't appear to be sour crop, no hard crop content. Not bird flu either.Got a fresh pineapple and made juice to get the active enzymes. It will soon be covered in purple petals, and then it will be on its way to being a delicious fruit.I have a total of three pineapple plants that I've grown from pineapple tops. This is the second one. The first one fruited last year, and I grew a third plant from the top of its fruit. I grew the first two plants from the tops of store-bought pineapples.
