I'm-the-problem

Gotta make sure to post my old man, Rascal. We estimated he's around 16 years old, and I adopted him after his owners were kicked out of their pet friendly rental so the landlord could sell the house. He had been returned to the shelter 4 times before then, because he was apparently a flight risk and consistently jumped his owner's fences!

It is another cold, grey day, but I have the woodstove going to heat up the house. Digby dog is declining; we are working with the vet to figure out if there is anything to be done, but I am mindful of what the vet said in August: “He is reaching his life expectancy. He could have 5 more years, or only 5 months.”

Meanwhile, here’s what the latte divination says this morning.
