I calculated all the contrast ratios of #MSX color combinations and put them on a table... so very few of them are good, which explains why I almost always go for black backgrounds in my games.

New project! A 3D Printed case for my #MSX #Zemmix Neo. Designed on Tinkercad and Inkscape, printed on black and neon green PLA using my Ender 3. It is almost 5 mm slimmer than the original, and not as yellowed (see second pic).

This was my first time designing something more complex than simple boxes with lids, and I learned A LOT about measuring, templates and tolerances. As they say, the journey is the reward.

The model will be on Thingiverse soon, alongside an article on Medium.

Last month I bought a new 3D printer, the old one was broken a long time ago.
I did a new iteration to my MSX self assemble cartridge and the result is gorgeous. No screws needed.
Still some things to tweak, mainly for the sticker area.
