Found some old CDs (Gasp! Physical media!) and am ripping them to make sure I have a copy since one is from a late friend from high school. Can’t find that on Apple Music or Spotify.

So nostalgic to get out the external CD drive for my Mac mini and rip songs. 2024 or 2004?!

I’ve always been an Apple / iOS person, starting all the way back with my first gen iPod touch in 2007…

But this promo video for the HTC Hero has always warmed my heart.

I miss the optimistic and earnest feel of the late 2000’s / early 2010’s, the feeling of big changes ahead but to take us to a better place.
