Belatedly I want to post my #kendo progress this week.
It was a rough day and I expected to get some stamina issues at the end of the training. But I am improving so it was still fine.
However this week, again I realized how much more I need to practice patience. Only fools rush in am I right?
After getting reminded of this by Senpai the last few geikos went much better.
Looking forward to next week.

Vuoden vaihteessa on hyvä aloittaa uudella harrastuksella! Meidän seura ottaa uusia harrastajia mukaan tammikuun ajan, alkaen 7.1.. Kokeilu on maksutonta, joten tervetuloa mukaan! Meidän seurassa tehdään kendoa kaikenikäisten kanssa, aikuiset ja nuoret yhdessä. Iaidossa tulee olla vähintää yläkouluikäinen. Kaikki harjoitukset järjestetään Joupin koululla, jos kendo, iaido tai molemmat yhdessä innostavat, maksaa kevään treenit 65 €. Lisäksi tarvitset varusteita, mutta niitä saa alkuun lainaan seuralta – aloittamiseen riittää hyvin verkkarit ja t-paita, sekä shinai (=bambumiekka) kendoon ja obi (miekkavyö) sekä bokuto (puumiekka) sayan (huotran) kanssa. Tervetuloa mukaan aloittamaan uusi hauska harrastus uutena vuotena 2024!
