Saturday night was family movie night with our 12yo daughters.
The film, you ask? My Cousin Vinny (1992).
Not all films survive the passage of time and the tranport across generations, especially comedy. But this one is as alive today as it was 32 years ago, and it worked with our daughters as it worked with us.
Joe Pesci and Maira Tomei are fantastic, and Fred Gwynne is lovely as the judge (it was his last film).
