Photo d’une vieille porte extérieure assez décrépite dans le mur d’enceinte d’un parc. La peinture bleue est assez écaillée, laissant voir des taches marron rouge (de la rouille peut être) , et du vert vers le bas de la porte. L’entourage de la porte est en brique et le mur en pierres meulières. Le haut du mur et le linteau de la porte sont envahis par du lierre.

The NC Renaissance Festival has no shortage of cool looking buildings and shops, full of handmade merch! One thing to note is that this particular Ren faire is seasonal and is only open usually around late Sept until mid November. Tickets sell out fast!

When we visited the Christchurch Botanic gardens recently my daughter took me to this ancient ivy, her favorite plant in the gardens. It has some terrifically twisted, creepy H. R. Eiger vibes.

It grows up the side of a giant sequoia tree that was planted in 1873. I expect the ivy cannot be much younger than that as its base is completely smothered by large sequoia roots.
