"Sugar Shack" is a song written in 1962 by #KeithMcCormack. McCormack gave songwriting credit to his aunt, Beulah Faye Voss, after asking what are "those tight pants that girls wear" to which she replied "leotards". The song was recorded in 1963 by #JimmyGilmerAndTheFireballs at #NormanPetty Studios in #ClovisNewMexico. The unusual and distinctive instrument part was played by Norman Petty on a #Hammond Solovox keyboard.

Another interlude, another occasion to do some leftfield experimentation. How about some easy listening jazz standard from the 1920s, arranged and played on a #synthesizer from the 1930s, a Hammond Novachord.

Adding a Hammond organ, some rotary speaker and a Celeste (bell piano) to round up this vintage setup.
