Watched the first episode of the new season of Dr Who and I think this pairing is a bit perfect. Ncuti Gatwa's Doctor continues to delight, and Varada Sethu's Belinda is smart and brave. Hooray! And I loved the production design for this first episode .. robots and a futuristic city .. squee.

Why is everybody talking about #drwho all of a sudden? Did a new season start?
That was absolute top tier Doctor Who. S2E1 is sending the season off to a flying start.
It's finally Saturday, and finallier new Doctor Who episode day. I liked 'The Robot Revolution', it's a solid start to Season 2 with an appropriately timey wimey plot. Also really loved Varada Sethu as Belinda and her no bs but still empathetic persona.
I want to give #Mastodon a proper go this time, but it's hard to connect with people when no-one follows you, and hashtags only get you so far.

Can't wait for the new Ncuti Gatwa Doctor Who series to be released! I hope it's better than his first series. The writing for some of those episodes wasn't too great, but I like Ncuti as the Doctor.

Right! I've done it! I have worked my way back through Eccleston to Gatwa and done all of the modern Dr Who's. It's been a wild ride. And bumpy as shit. But look.... I'm a big ole softy and I loved most of it - even the really truly terrible stuff. But I'm done. Should I now go back back and do the old old ones?
