I feel like if your PRIDE parade is not disability friendly, it kind of....sucks. A lot. How can we say we are "inclusive" when disabled members of LGBTQAI+ can't attend?
No mention for people to use mask at least when sick (the bare minimum), walks are not picked for accessability for wheelchair and other aid users, and I have not seen any indoor meetings to be in anywhere bur bars among unmasked people.
Once more, I can't attend.

Would getting rid of First Past the Post lessen the pressure to extreme polarization we see happening in politics so all those separate issues wouldn’t get lumped together?
Now the radical right (or whatever) gets to pick and choose which polarizing issue to rev up people’s rage

Epiphany hit me last night that I might have hypoparathyroidism. It would explain the worsening of some of my problems (POTs, fibro, muscle spasms & weakness, etc) & why my mouth is so damn dry lately. I need an Endo, just fighting the executive dysfunction to call

We must normalize #masks as a public #health tool before it’s too late.
If you care about #socialjustice, #disability rights, fighting fascism or your health… you should be wearing a mask. Ideally an #N95 or better.

@ned I don’t even know how people can say this after 2020.
Here in the US people who couldn’t go to work because of Covid mitigations were getting 60% of their income (except states have a max, so maybe not if they’re HIGH earners) PLUS an extra $600 a week. So some of these people were making more money by not going to work, which I think is fantastic.
The part that blew my mind was that they were mad about it. Or maybe they were just screaming about it on social media so people wouldn’t get mad at them for forgetting extra money? It was the weirdest thing
Even when people were getting more money and unemployment than at work, and getting pandemic food stamps, and they had rental assistance available to them if they needed it, and they could have paid sick days if they were sick, some of these weirdos were still screaming about not being able to work.
So yeah, you can’t tell me that people would choose not to work.
