The Pussycats came later in 1969: the band and Valerie debuted in Josie & The Pussycats #45. Colleen Coover<p>Josie And The Pussycats was first created by Dan DeCarlo and published by Archie in February, 1963. That means in a little over two months they will be 60 year old rock queens!</p><p>The sketch cover I just finished below will be auctioned for charity. I'll post it when the charity puts it up on eBay!</p><p>I love this sketch!
