The Bee GuyFacts are back after a couple of days missing. Literally. I left them happily foraging on dandelions in the front meadow on Saturday morning only to return later to discover they’d all disappeared. Eventually found them hiding in the woods - took me a few days to round them up. What? What? Spaceways05/05/2025 Flowers and bees on our evening walk after work today along the quiet roads.Silverweed - The first few flowers are starting to show. Broom - In amongst a bank of broom, this one stood out. I'm thinking an escaped cultivated one (Firefly?)A couple of lovely bees on lime tree leaves, Marsham’s nomad bee and Early mining bee I think. I must have spent a good half hour just watching them doing busy bee stuff. RastaThe haskaps are full of <a href="https://mstdn.ca/tags/bees" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#bees</a>. And yet, I had trouble getting one on camera. (Shy bees)Everything else is still in bud, apple leaves have started to unroll, and the only flowers yet are the Haskap bushes. They buzz quickly from flower to flower, you can hear them but they are move quickly.
