What is this? Not the best picture as it wouldn't stay still. It looks like a bee with something long and thin protruding from its head. I may call it a unicorn bee until I find a better description. #bee #insect #nature

Das Bild ist eine Nahaufnahme einer einzelnen Traubenhyazinthe ( *Muscari* ) mit vielen kleinen, dicht gedrängten, hell- bis dunkelblauen Blüten, die in einer kegelförmigen Traube angeordnet sind. Der Blütenstand ist an einem grünen Stiel befestigt, der sich aus dem Hintergrund von unscharf dargestellten, weiteren Traubenhyazinthen und grünem Blattwerk erhebt. Der Fokus liegt auf der Biene, die sich an den Blüten festklammert und scheinbar Nektar sammelt. Die Biene ist deutlich sichtbar und detailliert dargestellt – man kann ihre Beine, Flügel und den Körper gut erkennen. Die Farben sind lebhaft und natürlich; die blauen Blüten stehen im Kontrast zu dem satten grün des Hintergrunds, der leicht unscharf ist und einen Bokeh-Effekt erzeugt, der den Fokus auf die Biene und die Hauptblüten verstärkt. It got back down again from the basil pot but it was pretty difficult so I made a ramp with an #openSUSE stuffed Geeko as it should have a good texture for grip and a spare headphone ear cushion for stability for the next time.

Without my glasses I thought that this was some weird dirt clump on the floor that I was about to sweep up, until I saw it moving (very slowly, I don't think it can fly right now). It's having a drink of sugar water from a jar lid and hopefully it'll perk up.

Cute little moment today. I love all my bees and happy that I chose the right flowers last year AND managed to get most of them through winter so they're now blooming already and feeding the wild bees nesting on my balcony.

This was pretty scary to take because I kept getting real close up to the bee's to try and get a few shots but then the other bees on the plant would be flying around my head, or they would fly off before I would get them into focus and they would be in my diffuser
