Last but not least, Cure Majesty. Was difficult to mix the different hues of purple that were already used in parts of the pre-painted figure. I’d say the dark purple on the skirt is a bit too dark compared to the character sheet. And the reddish purple is less reddish than I’d have liked (the pink that was already there on her ankles was too pink in my opinion though, so I painted it all over with the same color). I’ll leave it like this, if you don’t check the character sheet on the side it looks just fine.

Happy Figure Friday!

I had seen the "Dissectibles" toys online before, but never expected to find one in person in the wild. However, last weekend, I did at Hot Topic. So, I snagged a surprise Tony Tony Chopper set.

It did not disappoint.

The combination of cuteness and gore / horror is so cool. I love seeing the dissection of the body like that. I don't know why, but I just find it so fascinating.

Would love to see more of these in different characters.

Anyways - have you seen these? Do you own any Dissectibles figures?

The series about an introverted superhero is entering its second season, and to celebrate, we're giving away two Banpresto anime figures of characters from the series: the eponymous Shy (Teru Momijiyama) and the heavy-drinking Spirit (Pepesha Andreanova). And to top it off, we'll also be giving away volume seven of the manga, releasing this month! One lucky winner gets ALL THREE!

Happy Figure Friday!

Another early birthday present I got was a new QPostket figure. This time of Bulma.

While I don't have a TON of space at my office, I had to get her open and set it up. She's in her classic, Dragon Ball attire and it's so cute.

I love the style of QPosket figures. I mean, I already have 3 more of them (Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, and Nami), so what's one more? Right?

This past weekend I visited my family and, as my birthday is coming up, they gave me my birthday presents. I had an online wishlist setup and, as you can see, my family went for it with what I wanted!

I'm hyped to jump into reading some of these. SCUD is a cool one I read a bunch of in high school, so am excited to finally read the entire series! I'll also get more pics of Bulma when I open her later this week.
