Erik<p>In a few days, these two live recordings by Illusion of Safety, featuring, on one track each, Voice of Eye and members of Life Garden, will be 30 years old.</p><p>As one might gather from the participants, the results are eerie, drifting soundscapes that incorporate acoustic instruments and intricate details. Erik<p>Judging by the covers, you might be fooled to think that these CDs sound the same, but in fact, they don't.</p><p>On the left you have Voice of Eye, with 9 "spontaneous compositions" of ethereal, tribal ambient. New agey, but not in a cheesy way at all.</p><p>On the right you have the balls-to-the-wall noise courtesy of Lasse Marhaug and Tommi Keränen (<span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodontti.fi/@tommioffinland" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>tommioffinland</span></a></span>).
