Forbidden Temple – In The Rotting Grave (Vinyl)
Forbidden Temple are a Belgian underground Black Metal band, formed around 2016/2017 and as far as known consists of two main musicians: Tenebrae and Agaliarept. None of the songs ever sound boring, repetitive, long winding nor predictable because there are plenty of subtle elements and sounds merged in the music.

One hell of an infectious #60s #psychedelic pop record, anchored by the almost annoyingly catchy “Run, Run, Run”.
Every one of these songs but one clock in at around two & a half minutes, with the longest one being 3:07. So either way, love it or hate it, it’s over before you know it.
Not much to hate here, though. Pretty fun album.

Pound for pound, my favorite #80s Cure album for sure, & only beat out by Wish overall (I know I’m in the minority with Wish).
A great Sunday spin, with a good balance of the doom + gloom Robert Smith, & the catchy, sunny Bob.
I always forget how great “Six Different Ways” is until I hear it again.
Definitely should have been a single.

I only bought two #recordstoreday titles this year, and both were by Shudder To Think, one of my most cherished bands.
This is the first time that this great soundtrack has been on #vinyl , & I’m still very surprised by how few people know it.
Most of these songs feature the band fronted by guest singers, including Jeff Buckley, John Doe, Billy Corgan, & more.

Neil Norman "Star Wars" US GNP Crescendo c. 1977 promo
Neil Norman, son of Gene Norman (head of the label), was interested in sci-fi music, so not surprising he'd do a cash in on the little George Lucas film. Probably released in late 77 or early 78.
Arrangements by Les Baxter also makes sense. Baxter had a long, varied career, doing everything from easy listening to film scores to dabbling with the theremin to working in the exotica field.
My daughter chose this for me in the record store: it is a good cover! #vinyl
