Widać gwiazdy. Rzekłbym, że nawet trochę ich widać. Nic ciekawego. Ale czy na pewno?

Wśród tych gwiazd czai się… kwazar[1]. _Quasi-stellar object_, czyli gwiazdopodobny obiekt, emitujący fale radiowe.
Na zdjęciu przypomina gwiazdę a w rzeczywistości to galaktyka.

Galaktyka Andromedy jest oddalona od nas o ok. 2.5 mln (miliona) lat świetlnych.

Na tym niepozornym zdjęciu, w zaznaczonym miejscu (fot. 2) kryje się 3C 273[2], czyli najjaśniejszy kwazar na naszym niebie - niewidoczny gołym okiem, jego jasność to ok. 12.9 mag[3].

Jego odległość to… 2.4 mld lat świetlnych. MILIARDA!

Gdy 3C273 wyemitował fotony, które w nocy do nas dotarły, na Ziemi trwał Proterozoik[4] - nie było jeszcze życia.

'Just a heads up that I'm going to pause the Universe tonight around 11pm to make some changes to the JSON file, going to delete Netanyahu, Putin, DT, Musk, Adani, Rinehart, Dutton, and a few others.. downtime should only be about 5 minutes but most wont experience the passage of time being on pause and all.. Things should work a lot better after the update and evolution will be re-enabled.'
