C.<p>This time, I agree with Justin Trudeau on something. Uninviting - banning - the president of the USA from attending the G7 summit in Kananaskis in June.</p><p>He's the elected head of the government of a member state of the G7; he clearly must be allowed to attend.</p><p>But they should *totally* make him sit at the kids' table.</p><p><a href="https://mindly.social/tags/USPol" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>USPol</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/G7" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>G7</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/Canada" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Canada</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/Canadian" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Canadian</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/USAnian" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>USAnian</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/trump" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>trump</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/child" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>child</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/Kananaskis" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Kananaskis</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/Trudeau" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Trudeau</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/JustinTrudeau" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>JustinTrudeau</span></a></p>

C.<p>Re: tariffs, trade wars, and insane rapist degenerates who think they're kings...</p><p>The rest of the world probably knows this, but for our <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/USAnian" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>USAnian</span></a> friends, the single most offensive thing about President Felon's actions in violating our trade agreements with the USA -- trade agreements which *he* signed -- is this little addition:</p><p>&gt; An official told the newspaper that these tariffs contained a retaliation <br>&gt; clause that would ratchet up American tariffs if Mexico, Canada or China<br>&gt; tried to place their own tariffs on US goods in response.</p><p>"We're going to violate our signed trade agreement, which has the force of law in both our countries, and you're just going to sit there and take it. You can't retaliate in kind or we'll get mad."</p><p>*That* is the American "exceptionalism" that the rest of the world hates. The sheer hubris that leads anyone to expect that edict to just be obeyed because We're American is the reason for the world's contempt.</p><p>Individual Americans can be, and frequently are, lovely people. But something happens in the aggregate that makes you absolutely insufferable at times. If you arrive as a visitor (no visa needed atm for USAnians), there is a maximum time you can stay, and you can't work. Violators will get deported, and likely banned from ever re-entering Canada.</p><p>If you want to move here, you would need to apply (while still in the USA) for the appropriate immigrant permit/status.</p><p><a href="https://mindly.social/tags/Canada" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Canada</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/USA" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>USA</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/USAnian" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>USAnian</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/migrate" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>migrate</span></a></p>
