An impossible time loop á la Back to the Future will induce a time flip with lots of puking for those involved.
(Don't. Just don't.)

Then, there's the main 3 time lines: Earth Time (our time), Life Time (individual) and Chrono Time (of time travel).
Sometimes, the future may be the past.

#JulesNVera
#TimeCurves

Not only are her characters well-drawn and believable, she takes the time to set up the rules and *follow them*! Julie Bihn
I say that Titanic Voyage has no villains except the iceberg. But for antagonist questions, I usually pick Alistair Seymour "Rocky" Rochester IV, a heavyset, ridiculously wealthy teenage computer genius. He's prickly, but he has a heart of gold buried deep. A fan (and author) favorite character. #TimeTravelAuthors (Prompts in profile!)

Lyssa Chiavari
#TimeTravelAuthors 11: describe your antagonist

He took off his mirrored sunglasses and shot a glance in my direction. His eyes were a very pale blue, like ice, and they pierced right through me. I shifted uneasily. Something about this guy made me feel guilty, even though I hadn’t done anything.

Quasi
#TimeTravelAuthors 11: Antagonist?

There are a few leading up to the final confrontation. Julie is an antagonist at one point, as is a mysterious individual from the future.

The big one though is Carrie Waterson. She's a temporal superweapon in the form of a fifty year old blonde woman, who has become bitter and cynical with age.

Oh yes, and the protagonist is Carrie Waterson, a temporal superweapon in the form of a teenage girl.

Time travel!

Ray Ingles
#TimeTravelAuthors 11: Describe your antagonist

SECONDARY's an 'MC vs world' story. Jim eventually makes some actual long-term enemies, but at the start he's too insignificant to be worth attention.

He's already got enough problems, just trying to survive a world that diverged hard almost 6,000 years ago. A world that doesn't treat people like him all that well, anyway.

#ScienceFiction #TimeTravel

I can't. Because that would be a spoiler.

I could take the time committee instead, a bunch of future fools who thought tempering with the past was the way to secure the future. But they are already dealt with.
Jules and Vera want to find out how and why. If he wants an Accelleratii incredibus, he will get one no matter what. If the team sent to get the damn bird dies in the process it's OK as long as he gets what he wants.
—A what?
—That's the bird's scientific name. I refuse to call it by its popular name. Don't ask why.
—But Brallan…
—He wasn't a white dove, kid. He deserved what he got. We all.
—He blew in pieces!
—So what? He wanted out, so what's the problem?
—😐

Julie Bihn
No "silly" in Titanic Voyage.

He extends his hand like an old-fashioned gesture of friendship.

A part of me expects to be greeted by a joy buzzer or perhaps chewing gum, but I shake his hand anyway. Sandra Bond
#TimeTravelAuthors 9 Apr: Weds post-sized snippet (optional word: silly)

Bonding over hatred of Archie Comics:

Darroll underlined his tirade by ripping a page clean out of the comic as he finished speaking.

For a moment Vanessa looked startled at Darroll’s outburst. Then she laughed, grabbed the book from him, and tore a second page out, then a third. That made Darroll laugh too. He liked Vanessa’s laugh. It wasn’t a silly, shrill giggle like a lot of girls’; it sounded real, unrestrained.

Brallan died because of that damn bird.
—It was his fault. I told him to not touch that dynamite mountain and he went there anyway. The innards are a maze of "containers", connected by nothing more than the internal teleport system, and those places are full of color. Julie Bihn
I always associate Titanic Voyage with the color blue—navy blue uniforms, the blue of the iceberg, blue of (spoiler), Rocky's blue eyes...even a blue screen! (Weird piece of lore, until relatively late in the drafting process, Liam was colorblind and wore glasses to show him colors! #HistorytownAZ) #TimeTravelAuthors (Prompts in profile!)
