MIS AVENTURAS CON LA ANIMACIÓN: #DCStudios anuncia varias #series animadas, como #MyAdventuresWithGreenLantern, #SuperPowers, y #Starfire, más cortos de Krypto, el perro de #Superman.

La serie de Green Lantern sigue el estilo (y el nombre) de #MyAdventuresWithSuperman. Pero mientras la serie de Superman sigue a Clark Kent, tres de los Green Lanterns más clásicos por ahora aparecerán en live action, con Guy Gardner en la película del kryptoniano, y Hal Jordan y John Stewart en la serie Lanterns. My Adventures será protagonizada por Jessica Cruz, un personaje aparecido por primera vez en los comics en 2014.

Mientras que en las historietas Jessica es una joven adulto, en la serie animada será una estudiante de secundaria que ve su vida alterada cuando un anillo de Green Lantern la elige para ser una policía galáctica. Su vida ya complicada se pone más caótica cuando llegan a la Tierra consecuencias de una guerra espacial y enemigos alienígenas de los linternas.

La serie estará a cargo de los productores ejecutivos Jake Wyatt, de My Adventures With Superman, y Stephanie Gonzaga, conocida por su trabajo en Batman: Caped Crusader, Ducktales, Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai, y Star vs. the Forces of Evil. Gran parte del equipo de diseño de la serie de Superman estará trabajando en la de Green Lantern, pero no se sabe si compartirán universo, a pesar de que el nombre lo sugiere.

Otra producción también tiene un nombre familiar, pero mucho más antiguo. Se trata de Super Powers, nombre de la colección de juguetes de los 80s que ha tenido su secuela en la actualidad de la mano de McFarlane Toys. El concepto de esta serie, sin embargo, es nueva, y más inspirada en comics como Tiny Titans o animaciones como DC Super Hero Girls.

En Super Powers, peronajes como Flash, Plastic Man, Aquagirl, Lightning, Green Lantern, y Terra estudian para mejorar sus poderes en la Alliance School, bajo la supervisión del Director Martian Manhunter, para algún día convertirse en la siguiente generación de superhéroes de la Teirra. Tendrá como productor ejecutivo a Matt Beans (Robot Chicken, Trolls), y Michael Chang (TMNT 2017, Young Justice, Teen Titans, Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai, Voltron: Legendary Defender) como productor supervisante.

Hablando de los Teen Titans, Starfire tendrá su propia serie, con la co-producción ejecutiva de Brianne Drouhard, que trabajó en todas las series animadas del equipo adolescente, y en otras producciones de DC como DC Super Hero Girls, Justice League Action, Batman; The Brave and the Bold, y el corto de Amethyst; además de producciones de Marvel como Rocket & Groot, Ultimate Spider-Man, y Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Además de Starfire, la serie incluirá a otros perosnajes como Crush, la hija de Lobo, y la propia Amethyst, Princesa del Mundo Gema.

Por último, y sin confirmar si es animación o live action (con mucho CGI), James "Pistolita" Gunn anunció que Krypto el Superperro tendrá su propia serie de cortos "estacionales", que comenzarían a salir luego del debut de la película de Superman en julio. Al contrario que los otros proyectos antes detallados, estos cortos compartiran continuidad con el universo central audiovisual de DC Studios.

Last night I did find the energy to work on a couple of minis, my not-Willow (vampire version) and not-Raven (from DC Comics).

Both are coming along nicely. Not-Willow still needs some work on her face and hair. Not-Raven' cloak needs more work. The highlights aren't showing at all. And her outfit (dress?) looks to grey. I want it to look black. I also need to highlight her hair a tiny bit.

In a comic panel the Titans, consisting of Nightwing, Cyborg, Donna Troy, The Flash, and Starfire, are gathered around a purplish meteor in a metal-walled room. Cyborg says, "So let me get this right, you think this is an evil meteor?" Flash says, "Yeah! Like in Maniac Mansion!" Donna says, "We don't know if it's evil, but it's strange." Wally says, "Like the mansion in Maniac Mansion!" Starfire asks, "Is there a danger of radiation? Mutation?" Wally says, "Like in Maniac Mansion's sequel Day of the Tentacle!"
