#BadBazaar and #Moonshine, which have been previously analyzed by cybersecurity firms and digital rights nonprofit #CitizenLab, were used to target #Uyghurs, #Tibetans, and #Taiwanese communities. These two spywares hid inside legitimate-looking apps, acting essentially as “trojan” #malware, with #surveillance capabilities such as access the phone’s cameras, microphone, chats, photos, and location data.

I have a whole bunch of marine puns in a different language that I doubt more than 1 other person at work would understand.

In Taiwanese / Hokkien,

‘Hae’ means shrimp
‘Heh’ means fish

So since I was a child my cousins and I have always been saying shrimp shrimp shrimp or fish fish fish for ‘hehehehe’ laughing

Typesetting in four languages — #Taiwanese or #台語, #Mandarin or #中文, English & Gaelic — is a challenge. But the proofs for our short story collection translated between Taiwanese and Gaelic are coming into shape. And they're beautiful. Stories by Elissa Hunter-Dorans, Kiú-kiong, Naomi Sím & Lisa MacDonald.

The book is available on pre-order, and will be out in June, after which we're planning events in both the UK and Taiwan.
