Mark SquiresI was looking forward to this. Saw it last week and it was so disappointing. Yeoh's character is great because of snark, malevolence and plots. Deliciously wicked. Here, they turn her into a watered-down action figure (she's small and 60!). Bleh. So-so plot. Destroyed her character vibe. steve mookie kongI just finished watching The Ark season two. Wow! What a season. I loved it. The heavy focus on survival in the first part of season one didn’t leave much for the characters. But they did start to establish characters and let us know who they are in the first season. The second season took the characters and really developed them to a point where I cared for them. steve mookie kongThe Ark season two has been fantastic. Everything in this season has improved so much. Episodes 9 and 10 were the culmination of character arcs from the start of the show. It was a powerful and emotional pair of episodes that left my feelings in a mess. The acting, directing and writing made these two episodes so strong. Kudos to everyone involved in the show. I am so glad I stuck with this show.
