Manon SegurChef-d'œuvre du néoréalisme (il paraît, j'y connais rien en néoréalisme) Rome, ville ouverte narre les mésaventures de résistants romains durant les derniers mois de l'occupation nazie. Bien que leurs obédiences politiques et religieuses divergent, ces braves gens issus du peuple n'hésitent pas à s'entraider malgré la crasse et la peur autour d'eux. <br>

visuellement magnifique, le film m'a surtout plu pour ses dialogues, à la fois poétiques et réalistes, et le martyre poignant de ses protagonistes qui n'étaient pourtant pas venus là pour souffrir (mais bon, ça reste des nazis en face). Le personnage de Don Pietro, prêtre résistant obligé de gérer à peu près tout ce qui bouge dans son quartier m'a également beaucoup touchée. <br>

Bon, ne nous mentons pas. C'est pas le film le plus joyeux du monde. Mais c'est un film à la forme et au fond impeccable, et surtout, par les temps qui courent, c'est un film au propos essentiel. Je vous invite vraiment à le découvrir. <br>
Pour ma part, je vais essayer de voir d'autres films de Rossellini. Parce que j'ai une culture ciné en carton. <br>
