More from Chris Bond

“Prior to blowing minds in Dinosaur Jr, Mascis grew up in #Amherst, Massachusetts, as a ‘weird kid’.

A #music obsessive, he would build a wall of furniture around his bed to listen to records by the likes of the #BeachBoys, #DeepPurple and #NeilYoung.

When #Punk hit town, he formed a teenage #hardcore band called #DeepWound – his mum even knitted him a sweater with their name on it.

Obsessed with #NickCave’s the Birthday Party, Mascis would break eggs into his hair to try to emulate the singer’s wild crow’s nest haircut.”

#NewMusic album for today was shared by #NickCave on the platform previously known as #Twitter.

However, this #Ambient #ElectronicMusic #artwork of his bandmate #GeorgeVjestica in collaboration with #DanDonovan under the music duo name of #ANDROMEDÆ is not receiving that much traction despite this major celebrity boost.

This probably shows perhaps that the old Twitter platform has become a ridiculous battleground of bots fighting each other for meaningless attention. 🤦‍♂️

Has anyone seen #UntilTheEndOfTheWorld? A 5 hour epic, described by some as the ultimate road movie, with unique music from an amazing array of talent (#U2, #NickCave, #Can, #LouReed, #REM, #PattiSmith, #DepecheMode etc)

It's (of course) not available for streaming or digital rental from anywhere in Finland, but there may be 'other sources'. But also I wonder if it works as a #ValentinesDay film (I've never seen it)?

The significant other remains a little skeptical :)
