January 31: most memorable grandparent character
The #kdrama #Navillera is about a 70 year old man who, after the death of his friend and against his family's wishes, finally decides to do what he has wanted to do his whole life: dance ballet.
A beautiful story about whether or not it is too late to follow your dreams.
@jcurries I'm a bit hesitant about #Navillera #kdrama . After watching the French TV series #Opera I still feel a bit traumatised about the ballet world.
That's a good one too, but tough.
Finished #Navillera. So sweet! Park In-Hwan and Na Moon-hee were fantastic, and Song Kang has range (he’s not like the demon at all haha) Major tearjerker, though. I need to go back to my dumb csi show for a while

From all of the shows I've watched so far, #Navillera was by far the best at identifying/addressing issues that occur later in life. I also thought that #HometownChaChaCha did well in this area.
There are definitely a lot of excellent actors who are ageing gracefully and could play leading characters. I'd certainly like to see more of that.
