For all those who were following my weird #Mac saga: it was the VPN after all. I was fiddling with the VPN settings, but only those in the menu bar (and was 12 hours away from wiping and re-installing the OS), and the internet just popped back on. So bizarre.

The best way to block ads on an Apple #mac is using #mozilla #firefox and the extension #ublockorigin. There is no better way, unless you want to pay Google.
The second best on a mac is using Google #chrome and #ublockoriginlight, which wokrs with the new version of Chrome. The full ublock origin extension doesn't, though. (1/5)

The biggest thing stopping the #mac from being a good source for #gaming is actually the difficulty it takes in developing games that can run on the mac and run well. #Apple likes to tote there capabilities,but what they don't say is that #developing for the mac takes twice as long as to develop the same for windows, not to mention that on an accessibility scale, it is not easy to use #XCode to directly code on the mac, trust me, I've tried and i found it way easier to use #VSCode to make even basic programs whereas for the mac, using XCode to do the exact same thing is like 10 times slower and harder to do for the same amount of work simply because of navigation alone with #VoiceOver.
I think the next #Mac that I'll buy will be one I buy if #Apple really can get there gaming inforstructure ready for widespread use. Right now, the Mac is incredibly impressive when it comes to specs and what it can do, but the fact you can't even run most games on it is absolutely wild with the specs that a standard Macbook pro has,I have the M2 and yeah... it can do a lot of things, run the latest games is not one of them.

I just heard from @sascharode1986, the developer of SDF Modeler, that he'll be working on a macOS version. 
SDF Modeler is already available for free for Windows and #Linux.
As far as I'm concerned, SDF Modeler is one of the best SDF 3D tools around at the moment, featuring advanced options like nested shapes and a path-tracing renderer.
