kīpukaJe me suis amusé à comparer deux images webcam de l'<a href="https://social.sciences.re/tags/%C3%A9ruption" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#éruption</a> qui a toujours lieu au <a href="https://social.sciences.re/tags/K%C4%ABlauea" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Kīlauea</a> (Hawaï). La première date du 26 mars, lors de l'épisode 15, et la seconde du 14 avril, c'est-à-dire de la période actuelle de quiescence entre les épisodes 17 et 18. Le niveau de zoom n'étant pas identique, j'ai dû utiliser quelques repères fixes (entourés en rouge) pour superposer les deux images. Le résultat n'est pas parfait, mais à quelques pixels près c'est pas mal ! Il suffit ensuite de jouer sur la transparence des calques pour mettre en évidence le changement de morphologie de l'évent nord entre les deux images. Se pose évidemment le problème de l'échelle. Je n'ai pas trouvé d'info sur le diamètre de l'évent, ce qui aurait permis de quantifier ce changement de topographie. L'idéal serait de faire ce travail en reprenant les images depuis le premier épisode, afin de suivre toute l'évolution du cône, d'estimer des taux de construction, etc. Ça ferait un bon sujet pour un escl...stagiaire de master 2 tiens...
